It started in our own trunk.

Before Kin & Cove was a business, my husband, Luke, built a simple wooden platform for a six-week road trip and car-camping adventure. Back home in our tiny apartment, we had nowhere to store it, so half of it stayed in the trunk.

Then we became parents. That accidental extra level became one of the most useful things in our car, especially with a stroller and baby gear. Eventually, that homemade solution became the Cargo Shelf.
