The Cargo Shelf
Will the Cargo Shelf fit in my car?
The Cargo Shelf is designed to fit most midsize SUVs and hatchbacks, including vehicles similar in size to the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. It measures 39 inches wide × 22 inches deep and adjusts from 10 to 16 inches high.
Because cargo areas vary by make, model, and model year, we recommend measuring your cargo space before ordering. We're also working on a vehicle compatibility checker to make confirming fit even easier.
How does the Cargo Shelf work?
It creates a sturdy second level of storage in your trunk. Pack larger items underneath, keep everyday essentials within reach on top, and fold back the panels when you need quick access to what's below.
Is the height adjustable?
Yes. The telescoping legs adjust from 10 to 16 inches high, so you can customize the space underneath based on your vehicle and what you're carrying.
Can I access things underneath without removing the shelf?
Yes. The panels fold back so you can reach your tent, baby gear, luggage, or anything else stored underneath without unloading everything on top.
How much weight can the Cargo Shelf hold?
The Cargo Shelf is built to handle substantial weight and has supported more than 200 lbs in our internal testing. We're currently completing additional load testing to determine the exact maximum capacity and will update the website when that information is available.
What is it made from?
The Cargo Shelf uses durable Trex® panels and black anodized aluminum components selected to stand up to everyday use.
What is included, and how do I set it up?
Everything needed to put your Cargo Shelf together is included. We also have a step-by-step video that walks you through setup.
Can I take it out of my trunk?
Absolutely! The Cargo Shelf is easily removable when you need your full cargo area back.
Orders & Shipping
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping is included in the price of your Cargo Shelf. Orders currently take approximately 1 to 2 weeks and ship via UPS. Once your order is on its way, you'll receive tracking information by email.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We currently ship within the 48 contiguous United States only. We hope to expand our shipping options in the future!
Where's my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with UPS tracking information. If your tracking hasn't updated or something doesn't look right, email me at samanthamsquires@gmail.com with your order number and I'll help figure it out.
My order arrived damaged or wrong. What should I do?
Please contact me at samanthamsquires@gmail.com with your order number and photos showing the issue, and we'll make it right!
Returns & Help
What's your return policy?
We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. If your Kin & Cove Cargo Shelf doesn't fit your vehicle, arrives damaged, or you simply change your mind, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned within 30 days of delivery, the product must be in original condition, and proof of purchase is required.
To start a return, email samanthamsquires@gmail.com. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the item is received.
